#preciousbride Rem Mandadero-Uy Cana

Baguio and Tagaytay are 2 of my favorite places in the Philippines. Boracay and Palawan are ayt but Baguio and Tagaytay take the cake! I know many of you can’t comprehend how I can like Baguio over Palawan but my fear of the water has limited my choices. Besides, I prefer cold weather where my pores are invisible versus hot weather where my pores are dilated and sweaty – Eew!

I like Baguio mainly because of its weather. For a tropical country like ours, a refuge like Baguio is necessary. Nakaka-stress ang init in Metro Manila and there is not a day that I don’t wish our weather in Metro Manila be more like Baguio’s chilly weather.

So when I received an inquiry for a Baguio wedding, I was literally exploding with happiness! I immediately thought about all the fresh vegetables I was going to buy and I was envisioning the day I was going to be in Good Shepherd for my Ube Jam, Strawberry Jam and Crinkles. I was also looking forward to the cheap walis I knew I could get at 100pesos each.

Rem, if you’re reading this, thank you for choosing Baguio and thank you for choosing me to do your bridal make up and hair. My team and I enjoyed our time! I know you’re back in Canada now but I hope this blog post reaches you in a state of pure bliss. May God bless your marriage.
